Fumihiro joins Hibiki Path Advisors after his career at Mizuho Financial Group, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Taiyo Pacific Partners (TPP). He brings 15 years of experience in investment management, with a strong track record of driving value.

At BCG, he was involved in a variety of strategic projects across sectors, including mid-term planning, portfolio strategy, new business development, international expansion, and business transformation.

At TPP, he was the Director of the Engagement Team where he acted as a resident advisor to lead structural reforms for a manufacturing portfolio company, which achieved the highest profits in two decades, following a year of operating loss. In addition, he successfully enhanced corporate value across a range of companies through initiatives spanning business strategy, capital policy, investor relations, and corporate governance.

He began his career at Mizuho in 2005 in the proprietary investment division, where he gained expertise in a broad range of assets and strategies, including structured products, hedge funds, Japanese and U.S. corporate bonds, U.S. bank loans, and convertible bond repackaged instruments. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Waseda University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Dean’s Scholar.
