Since our establishment in November 2015, Hibiki Path Advisors (HPA) has dedicated nearly a decade to engagement-focused investments in the Japanese small- and mid-cap segment, aiming to enhance corporate value and contribute to the development of Japan’s capital markets.
Now, we are pleased to announce that, effective January 2026, our business will be integrated into 3D Investment Partners Pte. Ltd. (3DIP), a leading independent investment management firm with an investment philosophy closely aligned with ours.
The long-standing leadership of HPA— Yuya Shimizu, Victor Foo, and other key members—will continue to manage the small- and mid-cap investment strategy at 3DIP as an independent team with full investment discretion. This strategy will be named “3D Hibiki Path Aoba Strategy” merging the identity of 3DIP with the funds we have managed to date, and Yuya Shimizu will be the CIO of this strategy.
Starting in 2026, with renewed commitment, we will strive to further advance our investment activities and contribute to our clients, our portfolio companies, and the continued enhancement of the quality of Japan’s capital markets.
